#184, fine, sound, tied on #UX5 by rare Leavitt LOUISVILLE, KY, AUG 4 79 postmark and ellipse killer
(Payne B-LOU(D), rarity H, $300-500) on
remailed mutual benefit association response card ( reverse side). The card actually has two
examples of this rare postmark and ellipse. An
earlier JUL 24 79 strike is visible from when the card was originally
mailed to notify the association member of his assessment. The card
has an unobtrusive resealed spindle hole just to the right of the
adhesive. A very interesting and
showy example of a rare Leavitt machine killer.
