SMITH'S ELECTRIC OIL * THE GREAT ABSORBENT, Only Cure for Rheumatism, Palsey, Asthma, &c., &c.". The cover back bears a detailed picture of the vendor's warehouse ("DR. SMITH'S CENTRAL FAMILY MEDICINE DEPOT") surrounded by more extensive claims of the oil's curative powers: "The New Theory Vindicated!!"; "APPROVED BY 300 PHYSICIANS AND MANY EMINENT DEALERS IN All parts of the Country."
