9524	#179, F-VF+, sound, tied by NEW YORK OCT 7 78 postmark and foreign mail ellipse killer on VF unreduced cover, neatly opened at top, with preprinted address to John D. Philbrick, United States Section of Education, Universal Exposition, Paris, France. Cover front bears blue double ring ETATS-UNIS V. ANGL. PARIS receiver and clear strike of "YALE LOCK MAN'FG. CO., CENTENNIAL MODEL POST OFFICE, STAMFORD, CT." hand stamp and duplexed target killer. This Yale Lock cancel (Bomar P78-02, only 4 known), applied to the envelope upon receipt at the Exposition model post office, was probably created for use at the Yale Exhibit at the Centennial, but no such use has been reported. Cover is backstamped with partial strike of French "Exposition Universelle/Postes & Telegraphe" double circle Exposition postmark. A wonderful cover and one of the great Exposition rarities. 2012 PFC.	$550
9547	#370, VF Alaska-Yukon-Pacific commemorative, tiny faults, tied by VF strike of SEATTLE WASH. EXPOSITION STA. OCT 10 1909 duplex hand stamp postmark (Scott catalog $250, Bomar S09-01, $300, noting that fewer than 15 specimens of this postmark on cover are known [this likely not one of them], most being on post cards) on intact Treasurers Office illustrated cover with multicolor rendition of the exposition's official emblem, addressed to Norfolk, Virginia, some soiling and edge wear. Very scarce.	$75
9496	#279B, F+, sound, tied by PAN AMERICAN EXPOSITION promotional BUFFALO, NY JUL 10 1900 machine cancel on VF intact exposition multicolor illustrated advertising cover, featuring the electrification of Buffalo via Niagara Falls. This is an extremely scarce Pan American exposition promotional design rarely found in collections. Cover with light overall toning.	SOLD
9022	#324, fine, sound 2¢ Louisiana Purchase Exposition issue, tied by XF strike of ST. LOUIS, MO. NOV 24 1904 EXPOSITION STA machine postmark on exposition illustrated post card (subject, Tyrolean Alps), sent to Stolp Pommern, Germany (now Poland). Scarce, Scott catalog $60.	SOLD
7952	Official Mailing Card, Lewis & Clark Centennial, 1905, Portland, Oregon, picturing a General View of the exposition, postmarked OCT 1905, EXPOSITION STATION (Bomar P05-02) canceling a 1 cent #300. Card has minor edge wear including a small corner bend at upper right. Sender wrote, "Portland, Sept 28th, 1905. Dear Eva, I am having a lovely time at the fair, love to all. Myrtle Hepp". All in all a very clean and attractive card (symbol of Lewis & Clark leading Liberty westward into the sun at lower right).	$40
7736	Jamestown Exposition post card, postmarked PATERSON, N.J., JUL 28, 1907 and bearing a fine #328, 1¢ Jamestown Exposition stamp paying a "Printed Matter" rate (no message) to Germany, with color image titled "BIRD'S-EYE VIEW, JAMESTOWN EXPOSITION, 1907." Perhaps the most interesting feature of the illustration is a view of the fleet of international ships at the bottom. The second International Naval Review was a part of the exposition's opening festivities, welcoming fleets of international ships for President Theodore Roosevelt's review. One can see among the ships elements of the U.S. Navy's "White Fleet". Scarce card (back image).	$40
