  • Errata: Endnotes 1 and 4 incorrectly title the article referenced in USCC NEWS May 2015 (295) as "Corry Fancy Cancels, Part 1". The correct title is, "Fancy Cancels of Union Mills, Pennsylvania".  In addition, the correct spelling of the last name of the article's author is "Woodward", not "Woodard".

As a collector and dealer I have maintained a special interest in the cancellations used in the New York City post offices.  In particular I have collected and studied the New York foreign mail (NYFM) and New York circular mail (NYCM) killers of the 1870s.  Over the years I have published various discoveries and articles in the U.S. Cancellation Club NEWS.  Below are these articles and, where available, updated information.  (Note, older articles are only available as scans of the original articles from the NEWS.)
