The MAR 15 (1876 pencil docketing) cover has a matching magenta
"P D" duplexed killer,
unlisted in major references. The later APR 23 (1878 pencil docketing) cover
bears a separate strike of a black
star in circle killer.
Stamps on both covers (#158) are fine and sound. A
pretty pair of Iowa covers. |
